Reproduction of the massive physique

Aoi Todo's greatest feature — his overwhelming muscular build — is reproduced with high precision at Figuarts quality. The bare-chested (open gi) silhouette matches the in-show image exactly, and the three-dimensional feel of the broad shoulders, bulging pectorals, and toned abs is superb.

Despite the standard S.H.Figuarts height of about 160mm, Todo's sturdy proportions are faithfully reflected, giving him outstanding presence even when lined up with other Jujutsu Kaisen figures. The sculpt gives him a stronger shelf presence than many slimmer action figures.

Facial sculpt & paint quality

The face parts are sculpted with sharp lines, clearly expressing Todo's wild gaze and distinctive expressions. The hairstyle (topknot) is naturally sculpted, and overall paint irregularity is kept to a minimum.

Articulation Review

The S.H.Figuarts series' greatest strength — high articulation — is achieved with a design tailored to Todo's build. Waist-twisting poses and high-kick poses with the leg raised and other action poses essential for recreating combat scenes are all possible.

Even the high leg-raised kick pose, considered difficult on typical action figures, can be held in a natural form thanks to the specially designed hip and ankle joints. Joint retention is also good, and poses are unlikely to collapse — a widely praised point.

For display, slightly angled poses work best. Because Todo has a larger body shape, careful posing around the shoulders and torso makes a big difference — the figure looks more natural when the shoulders, hips, and head are not perfectly straight.
